Privacy

What we collect: nothing

  • Each of our live apps carries the App Store privacy label “Data Not Collected.” You can check it on each App Store listing.
  • No accounts. No sign-up, no email address, no password.
  • No ads, no analytics and no tracking. No third-party ad, analytics or tracking code in any app.
  • No servers. Your data stays on your device and syncs only through your own private iCloud, if you turn that on. We don’t sell data; we don’t have any to sell.
  • You can export what you make in every app, whether you’re in the trial, paid or not.
  • This website loads no analytics, no tracking pixels and no third-party scripts.

One developer

Priv8Apps is one developer, Ray, an IT security professional. There is no company behind it collecting anything. The story of how it started is on the About page.

Priv8 is pronounced “Private”: Private Apps, Private Scout, Private Vitals.

How we work

Simple terms

  • Every app has a 14-day free trial.
  • Every app has a one-time purchase option for personal use. The Workbench Business, Professional and Enterprise tiers are yearly subscriptions.
  • Priv8Scout on iPhone and iPad has no subscription.
  • Where Apple’s platforms don’t allow something, the app says so instead of showing a made-up number.
  • Priv8Vitals is a wellness tool, not a medical device. It doesn’t diagnose, detect or treat anything.

Is Priv8Scout free?
The download is free, with every tool for 14 days. After that, a $5.99 one-time purchase unlocks it. The speed test stays free and unlimited either way.
Do your apps need an account?
No. None of our apps has an account, a sign-up or a login.
What data do you collect?
None. Each live app’s App Store privacy label reads “Data Not Collected,” and we have no servers to send data to.
Do you show ads?
No. There are no ads in our apps or on this website.
Who makes Priv8Apps?

Does Priv8Vitals need an Apple Watch?
It works best with one, and you don’t need a new one. Vitals runs on iPhone and reads whatever is in Apple Health, including data from other devices like smart scales.
