Priv8Apps

There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and no servers, so there is nothing to sell, leak or hand over. Every app we’ve shipped carries the App Store’s “Data Not Collected” label. That’s Apple’s label, not our marketing, and anyone can check it in ten seconds.

Two promises run through every app. Where iOS won’t allow something, the app says so instead of faking a number. And in every state, whether trial, paid or lapsed, you can export everything you made.

Priv8Apps is built by Ray, an IT security professional, on evenings and weekends. He builds the privacy-first tools he wanted to use himself.

Priv8Scout · iPhone, iPad and Mac

The iPhone scouts. The Mac measures.

A privacy-first network toolkit for iPhone and iPad, with a Mac workbench for true-dBm Wi-Fi measurement and site surveys. Its speed test tells you whether a slowdown is the Wi-Fi, the router, DNS or the internet path. On the Mac, Priv8Scout Workbench scans nearby Wi-Fi in true dBm, which iOS doesn’t allow any app to do, and paints coverage heat maps on floor plans captured with the iPhone.

Priv8Vitals · iPhone

As simple or as deep as you like.

Apple Health already knows how you slept, moved and recovered. It just never tells you what that adds up to. Check one readiness score and go, or dig into HRV, sleep and training load. Priv8Vitals reads your Health data (read-only) and turns it into a morning readiness score and a plain-English plan for the day. It works best with an Apple Watch and reads whatever is in Apple Health, so data from other devices that sync there, like a smart scale, counts too. No account, and no server that sees your heart rate.

Priv8RSS Reader · iPhone and iPad

Read the news without the news reading you.

Priv8RSS renders articles natively from the feed. There’s no web view, so no web page or script ever runs inside the app. Its AI features (Smart Feeds sorting, summaries, merged stories, a Daily Briefing, and answers with citations across your feeds) run on your device with Apple Intelligence, and no article text is sent anywhere. Read-aloud and Focus mode are built to be easier to read for anyone who finds a block of text hard going. No account, no ads, no tracking.
